How do I conduct a search?
There are two search options: Basic and Advanced.
EBSCOhost eBooks (formerly NetLibrary)
The EBSCOhost ebooks collection (formerly NetLibrary) includes the searchable full text of over 8,000 online books. Fiction and nonfiction are included. Access to EBSCOhost eBooks is provided through a statewide contract as part of BadgerLink. The ebook collection is a searchable full-text collection of electronic books. The basic collection primarily includes ebooks in the fields of computer science, engineering, and technology.
NoveList K-8
Need help finding good books to read? NoveList K-8 helps kids and young teens do just that! Use your favorite books and authors to find new adventures! If you can't think of a book you've liked in the past, simply choose a topic of interest and explore lists of recommended books. NoveList K-8 Plus includes both fiction and nonfiction titles. Search by author, title, series or plot description by typing in the search bar at the top of the screen.
WorldCat
WorldCat is a global catalog of library collections that enables users to search for articles, archival materials, books, journals, maps, music, videos, and other resources. Basic search, advanced search, and a “search everything” feature are available. Advanced search features include searching by accession number, keyword, ISBN, ISSN, and limiting by content (fiction, non-fiction, biographies, and theses/dissertations) or language (which includes vernacular scripts). Search results may be sorted by relevance, author (A-Z), title (A-Z), and date (oldest first or newest first).
TeachingBooks.net
TeachingBooks.net is an easy-to-use website of multimedia materials about fiction and informational books for children and young adults. On TeachingBooks, you'll find a digital library with tens of thousands of resources supporting every book being read in the K–12 curriculum. The database provides exclusive movies and audio productions with authors introducing their books and revealing their craft, enabling anyone to learn directly from the author when reading a book.
